Sabbaday Falls Movie is 13mb.
Legend has it that on Saturday November 26, 1852 with winter rapidly approaching, workers building a road from Albany to Waterville decided it was time to call it quits.
The workers hid their tools, planning to return the following spring.
Before leaving on the following morning: a Sunday, they named the brook Sabbaday Brook for the Sabbath Day, or "Sabbaday."
The workers never returned to complete the road, but the name has endured.
